Lake Turkana Oil Development
The scope covered design and management review of the local Kenya design sub-consultant for Block 10BB and 13T, together with detail engineering management and review of civil and electrical infrastructure and the Balance of Plant.
40MW Kuvaninga Gas Power Plant
Civil engineering support was provided as the Lender's Technical Advisors for this EPC project, which involved the design and construction of a gas power plant adjacent to the ROMPCO gas pipeline (Temane to Secunda) at Chokwe in Mozambique.
Master Planning and Early Works
The work covered master planning including a landing strip, construction camp, water supply, and water and wastewater treatment, along with Balance of Plant and geotechnical support.
Mtwara to Dar Es Salaam Pipeline
Project Management Consulting support to TPDC with regards to management of the contractor and construction, review and approval of design in line with international standards.
Development Corporation Coega LNG to Power
Technical assessment of a proposed 3.2GWe CCGT Power Station at Coega, using LNG fuel.
Logistics Study
A logistics study was conducted to determine the transportable envelope size as input to detail engineering design of modules, investigating port and road infrastructure and capacity.
Floating LNG Import
Floating LNG Import (FSRU), with a 20" x 20km onshore and 20" x 5km offshore high-pressure gas pipeline.
Offshore LNG Import
The scope covered an onshore LNG import, storage and regasification terminal, together with a 400km onshore pipeline to Mossel Bay, including a spur to the Ankerlig Power Station in Cape Town.
Saldanha LNG
Pipeline routes for the import of LNG and piping to various energy generation plants, plus a pipeline to the Mossel Bay Gas Plant.
New Multi-Products Pipeline
WorleyParsons, as JV partner with Arup in the NMPPP Alliance, provided FEED and full EPCM for a multi-product fuel pipeline, comprising a 550km multi-products pipeline from the Durban coastal terminal to an inland terminal near Johannesburg.
Rompco Line Looping Gas Pipeline
An 865km, 600mm diameter pipeline running from the Central Processing Facility at the Temane Gas Fields in Mozambique to the Sasol Synfuels Plant in Secunda, South Africa.
Blend Plant
Site remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils and groundwater.
Lake Kivu Bulk Earthworks
The project developed gas extraction facilities to extract methane gas from Lake Kivu and deliver it to onshore facilities for processing and subsequent use in gas engines for power generation.
This comprised a civil works contract for bulk earthworks with an option for concrete foundation works, gas extraction and processing design and construction including associated civil works, and power generation design and construction including associated civil works.
